Service Coordinator

Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting both Field & Shop Service supervisors.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure technician time and write-ups are submitted daily
• Initiate work order opening and add segment to jobs as scope of the job or estimate changes
• Communicate with PSRs and customers regarding revised estimates/scope of work changes
• Maintain written record of communications to ensure customers are aware of scope of work to be performed
• Assist with follow up to technicians on status of the assigned work order
• Maintain work orders to include write-ups, eTime, job photos for Supervisor to review for closing
• Maintain warranty repairs to ensure proper documentation is present for warranty claims
• Provide input to Field and Shop Supervisor on employee performance reviews and training needs
• Report to Field and Shop Supervisor any rework or non-productive activity on the part of technicians that occurs in both field and shop operation
• Update Field and Shop Service Supervisors on problem jobs prior to invoicing
Education/Experience/Skills:
• High School diploma or GED and a minimum two years at Vocational or Technical School
• Minimum five years’ experience as a heavy equipment Technician
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• General knowledge of maintenance, repair, parts department functions, and customer needs
