Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Manage patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle incoming calls, take messages, and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff, providing clear and concise information.
- Verify patient insurance and collect payments, as needed.
- Update patient electronic health records (EHRs) and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized office environment, including supply inventory management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience in a medical facility, with knowledge of medical insurance and/or electronic medical records preferred.
