Location: Buford, Ga. Pay Rate: $18.001st Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F
We are looking for a Parts Research Specialist to balance the needs of customers with the best, cost-effective solution for parts repair, replacement, and delivery. This role is responsible for initial updates to the customer and subsequent follow up on customer inquiries regarding any vendor delays. A successful Parts Research Specialist can multi-task, balancing the needs of the technical department and customer, and maintain an organized workflow to keep the repair process on track and the customer updated.
Responsibilities:
  • Source hard to find and obsolete parts from large variety vendors.
  • Work closely with technicians to determine adequate substitute components.
  • Outsource parts and equipment that are unable to be completed in-house.
  • Follow up with repair vendors.
  • Manage quotes, lead times, and return of repaired equipment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Maintain parts database.
  • Properly report and document lead times and issues related to parts orders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must have a high aptitude to perform online research
  • Must have strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Must be able to manage time effectively
  • Must have the ability to work with efficiency
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior parts research experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills
