South Mountain Creamery is a farmer owned dairy production company that provides consumers access to a consistent source of foods typically found at local farmer’s market.  These products would include our own fresh dairy, grass fed beef, local produce, and other pantry items that support the local communities. Our creamery focuses on providing products through three primary channels including home delivery (e-commerce), wholesale, and our company owned retail outlets.  In total we service over 15,000+ customers weekly throughout the eastern seaboard.

Summary of Position Description:
The Territory Brand Ambassador Manager will be responsible for building a direct sales force that will acquire new home delivery customers specially in the Mid-Atlantic region including Southern PA, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. This position will require strong leadership skills, strategic planning, and full cycle sales acumen.  With this high-energy position the Brand Ambassador Manager will recruit, train, and lead other brand ambassadors in the defined area to consistently be active in obtaining new South Mountain Creamery home delivery customers.  Along with being the leader of a highly motivated sales team, this individual will also be willing to be the face of the company in the community while attending festivals, farmers market, and other similar events.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership for building growth in the market(s) you are responsible for
  • Be active in community events throughout the region including
  • Build a team of brand ambassadors that can deliver consistent and happy new South Mountain Creamery customers.
  • Recruit brand ambassadors through company provided channels including job fairs, ads, and other recruiting methods as established by South Mountain Creamery
  • Help develop and define the home delivery sales method and processes. 
  • Properly and thoroughly train new sales employees the technical skills to execute their jobs effectively
  • Provide leadership and support to all sales representatives so that they are motivated and inspired to drive customer acquisition
  • Actively encourage a spirit of team-work, bringing a positive attitude and a “can-do" mind-set
  • Be able to live and lead a “Customer First" mindset
  • Work with Operations personnel to identify new markets for customer acquisition
  • Set clear expectations for the team and hold people accountable to those expectations
  • Must be able to communicate positive feedback, constructive feedback, and listen attentively to your employees
  • Must be able to communicate, influence, and work with all departments within the Company
  • Celebrate wins with your team and have fun
  • Schedule is either: Tuesday - Saturday, or Wednesday - Sunday
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). College degree preferred
  • A self starter attitude with desire to execute and win
  • Two years of Sales and Management experience preferred
  • The ability to lead and train teams of sales professionals
  • Ability to communicate with external businesses, community leaders, and professionals to promote and sell our service
  • To have knowledge of social media channels to research and locate new community events.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • The ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • A clean driving record (MVR)
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
