The Distribution Operations Manager is responsible for all operational functions within the Distribution Center to expedite products through the distribution process from receiving to shipping in a productive, accurate and cost-effective manner. The Distribution Operations Manager assists the VP of Warehouse Operations in planning, budgeting, and human resource decisions as applied to the distribution functions to enable Ace Mart to reach company goals.

What You Will Do
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the distribution center including receiving, inspecting, storing, counting, and shipping of merchandise and supplies.
- Manages a team of warehouse supervisors and associates while providing guidance, coaching, establishing goals, and completing performance evaluations.
- Actively interacts with the various distribution teams in the warehouse to direct workflow and adjust as needed.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and quality of inventory and shipments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the distribution process and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, inventory management, or retail and strategic sales to ensure timely and accurate delivery of transfers and orders.
- Communicates decisions and solves problems both formally in meetings and informally through interaction with others.
- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall company operations.
- Other duties as assigned by the VP of Warehouse Operations.
What You Will Need
- Excellent customer service skills, dependability and a team player mindset
- Pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Five years’ experience in distribution, logistics, or warehousing management.
