YOUR ROLE AS A Congressional Affairs ANALYST

ATOLLO is seeking an experienced Congressional Affairs Analyst with Navy Shipyards experience. The successful candidate will serve in support of our U.S. Navy customer's operations and stakeholder engagement requirements. As a Congressional Affairs Analyst at ATOLLO, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis, strategic advice and support on matters related to shipyards, naval procurement, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be a key liaison between the Navy organization and Congress and MUST possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective presentation skills, a professional attitude, along with an ability to lead and work as a member of a team and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS Congressional Affairs Analyst Opportunity

To excel as a Congressional Affairs Analyst at ATOLLO, you must possess a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field (an advanced degree is preferred). The successful candidate must also have 5 years of experience performing duties associated with legislative analysis work preferably with naval shipyards or defense procurement responsibilities. Possessing an in depth understanding of the legislative process and Congressional operations in conjunction with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear and actionable information is critical for success as a Congressional Affairs Analyst.

The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Effective communication that ensures mutual understanding and collaboration
  • Strong strategic analysis and reporting i.e., briefs, presentations
  • Ability to function as an advocate when developing strategies, drafting correspondence, and papers
  • Advance monitoring and advising on emerging issues related to naval shipyards and defense procurement, to navigate legislative challenges and opportunities.
