Full job description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with project team members, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project execution
  • Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
  • Conduct construction estimating and cost analysis for HVAC projects
  • Supervise and provide guidance to field staff and other staff members
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with clients to address any concerns or issues that may arise during the project
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques related to HVAC systems
  • Proficiency in using construction software procore, ConstructPM, etc
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Identify problems and conflicts within drawings, producing RFI'S, Producing Change orders.
  • Excellent project coordination skills to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and controls. Ability to Maintain schedule, manage manpower hours, manage purchase orders, manage budgets
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management
