About Us:
MVP Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join a reputable non-profit Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) and Hospice organization in the Concord, NH area. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of human resources functions, supporting a mission-driven organization committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community.
Position Summary:
The Human Resource Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting a caring and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including onboarding and orientation.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment and culture.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification is a plus.
- Experience in a healthcare or non-profit setting is preferred.
