HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

The Henderson Products Contract Administrator is responsible for working with all functional departments for strategic bids and processes. This includes coordinating all significant sales contracts with Large Municipalities and State DOT. This position will manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and actual contracts that Henderson is awarded, maintain a database utilizing Salesforce technology for large bids and contracts.

  • Works closely with members of the sales, engineering, and operations to ensure timely completion of RFP Response. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a schedule for the response completion.
  • Adheres to and promotes company’s values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company.
  • Maintains the Bid Results database and will include historical and potential fleet or unit contracts, cost and pricing details, and competitive information.
  • Although no direct reports, this person will lead the RFP and Awarded Contract through various departments to ensure schedules are met.
  • Manage and communicate sales information and product changes both internally and externally.
  • Assist Sales Management to produce, maintain and update annual State / DOT projects in process and Order Forecast.
  • Support in Ordering Processing for State / DOT orders and ensure Contract commitments on delivery are met.
  • Manage on-going reporting for active State / DOT contracts, serve as key point-of-contact for all contract administration for customer base.
  • This position requires the ability to meet deadlines, so a flexible schedule is required. The ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize their importance is required. It is also necessary for this person to be able to schedule and lead meetings with a broad range of people.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

  • 3 years of experience in Project Management or processes required.
  • Understanding of truck equipment products preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel and database management.
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
