The growing F-35 Solutions Product Line within the Electronic Combat Solutions Business Area has an immediate need for a Contracts Manager to support the F-35 Future Capabilities area. The Future Capes area is a growing area within the LOTAC Product Line that has a mix of classified and unclassified programs with Lockheed Martin Aerospace, the F-35 Joint Program Office as well as other classified customers.
The duties will include, but not limited to:
  • Provide leadership and guidance for Contract Administrators, overseeing and directing daily contractual activities, providing guidance on contractual/business issues, and assisting in preparing proposals, completing negotiations, and drafting of contract terms.
  • Independently lead and manage proposal activities including, analysis of solicitations, developing strategies and recommendations, preparing terms and conditions, reviewing the technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and consistency, and conducting business risk assessment.
  • Leads and supports fact-finding and other audit activities.
  • Lead complex negotiations with an emphasis on implementing a strategy that creates a win/win situation.
  • Advise F-35 Solutions management of contractual rights and obligations, risk mitigation alternatives and business strategy. Ensuring that all contractual arrangements offer the company a reasonable probability of accomplishing the business objectives.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with counterparts within the customer organization and between all functions within BAE Systems.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge and working understanding of the U.S. government acquisition and procurement environment, Lockheed Martin Corp Docs, export and FAR/DFAR regulations.
  • Oversee management of multiple contract types, such as Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, and Time and Materials.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
  • Ability to make decisions and close actions
  • FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience with agreements other than contracts (ex. NDAs, bailment agreements, and/or software license agreements)
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Pursuant to a specific US Government contract, selected candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with Intellectual Property
  • Experience with complex contracts and proposal preparation and execution
  • Prior experience managing staff is a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $192280

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
