Front Office Coordinator

The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive and memorable experience at The Hollywood Roosevelt.

Position Summary

The FOC will supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local attractions and activities with proper communication through Opera. Follow up with guests to ensure any requests/issues have been resolved to their satisfaction. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. Respond to special requests from guests, communicate VIP arrivals to designated personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere to all guests, including a pre-arrival consultation and arrival greeting to facilitate directions and information regarding property amenities, services and hours of operation as well as local areas of interest and activities
  • Be present and available in the lobby as well as other public areas, create personalized experiences and address guests needs
  • Coordinate execution of all arrivals and departures of special guests (VIPs, long stay, FAM visits, etc. ), including amenity process and pre-arrival planning by responding to potential, repeat, and in-house guest requests and needs in a timely manner
  • Login Daily to Revinate/Inguest/iPrefer
  • Execute all items on the check list surrounding guest experience and guest relations
  • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests while maintaining confidentiality of guest and hotel information

Qualification Standard

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Hospitality (hotels preferred)
  • BS in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in English (required); Multilingualism will be considered an asset
  • Systems: Opera PMS and Micros PMS experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Open schedule availability (required)
  • Physical tasks; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
