We are looking for a proven Sales Representative (based out of the Charlotte, NC area) who is an overachiever, able to drive sales initiatives, and expand the territory’s market opportunity. This position will represent Portacool and ensure both our customers’ (and our end customers’) needs and expectations are exceeded with our innovative cooling products for our Atlantic region. The region consists of NC, SC, FL, GA, VA, WV, MD, DE, and NJ.


Overview of the Role

  • Develop and expand our distributor network and territory sales, assisting our partners with end user sales assessments, presentations, training, and product demonstrations.
  • Expand brand awareness through direct and indirect strategies.
  • Engage our distributor partners to execute sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Meet or exceed monthly goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel within customer organizations.
Requirements:

Candidate Qualifications

  • Sales representative with demonstrable, proven sales and territory experience, automotive channel a plus.
  • Customer service skills to listen to customers and professionally answer questions or address concerns
  • Strong public speaking skills to present product or services to customers
  • Ability for overnight travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience
  • Working experience in Microsoft 365 and CRM platforms
  • Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) a plus but not required
