About the Opportunity
You will drive sales growth at Upkara. This role will manage and grow Upkara’s sales pipeline, hire the sales team, and oversee all sales activities. This is a hands-on sales role, with the opportunity to build a sales team and lead the sales effort as the company grows. Key responsibilities include the following:
- Direct and coordinate all sales activities
- Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key accounts and partnership organizations
- Orchestrate and exhibit at conferences/tradeshows to generate and convert new leads
- Develop sales forecasts and participate in company strategic planning
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies
- Hire, grow, and manage the sales team as required by sales growth
About you
You thrive in a startup environment that will need you to sell a disruptive technology, establish new processes, and then build the team. You have a background, or passion for, biotechnology.
