POSITION: Regional Sales Director – Oil & Gas Petrochemical

LOCATION: Houston, TX

STATUS: Salary Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing sales opportunities to grow the PSM portfolio of parts, repairs, field service, structured agreements and engineered solutions that encompasses upgrades to B/E as well as F-class gas turbines within the Oil & Gas Petrochemical industry. Position requires significant front-line sales effort, development, and maintenance of customer relationships. The position will work cooperatively with PSM sales force personnel to optimize results for PSM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual volume and as-sold margin objectives in sales of PSM designed and manufactured OEM-compatible products for industrial gas turbines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, market and sell long-term service, maintenance and parts agreements to commercial customers across U.S.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key customer personnel.
  • Expand PSM presence in the oil & gas / petrochemical market segment to promote value added technologies providing low carbon solutions.
  • Represent PSM & affiliates at industry meetings, trade shows and conferences.
  • Negotiate key contracts in cooperation with PSM Contracts and Legal personnel.
  • Gather and analyze market feedback and intelligence and participate in development of PSM & Hanwha commercial strategies and tactics including capture plans.
  • Direct maintenance of CRM database relating to assigned products and customers.
  • Provide input to engineering on desirable and required product features and forecast volumes to manufacturing.
  • Coordination of other product lines within PSM business units.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field

Skills/Experience

  • 10+ years of applicable experience in the industrial GT and Oil & Gas industries or related manufacturing/repair environment Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in design, service, repair or manufacturing of industrial gas turbines and components, including familiarity with E (mature frame) and F class machines highly desired.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a lead position in sales force in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical rotating equipment market with established customer contacts.
  • Candidate must be a high-energy self-starter who has a proven record of accomplishment of meeting company goals and objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Up to 50% travel is required
