Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner working with hiring managers will create tailored hiring strategies that meet the organization’s recruitment needs. This position will develop practical strategies such as optimizing job descriptions, leveraging social media and job boards to source candidates, and streamlining the interview process and application. Effective communication and collaboration between talent acquisition and hiring managers is crucial to ensure job requirements are clearly defined and met. The Talent Acquisition Partner will use recruitment technology (ADP) to work collaboratively and efficiently manage the recruitment workflow which is critical to the success in this job. This position will work with marketing on brand to assure AET is interesting to potential employees by making attractive job postings, showing off its unique culture, and building a strong online presence through social media and other channels. This is both a strategic and hands-on position and will have the opportunity to expand the scope of their role to build a stronger employer brand, develop culture and improve employee engagement.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and departments to get a clear view on their strategic objectives and hiring needs
  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, building and maintaining a network of talented candidates through market research, community building and on-going relationship management for a broad/deep range of positions
  • Create and execute talent strategies based on deep understanding of business needs aligned with understanding of the candidate marketplace (both internal and external)
  • Provide hiring managers and HR with market intelligence, suggestions for candidate interview assessment, and strong offer management support
  • Conduct hybrid and In person interviewing, lead / facilitate candidate interview feedback session
  • Manage the candidate process, from sourcing to the transition to onboarding, to ensure a thorough, informative, streamlined and engaging candidate experience
  • Leverage ATS reporting functionality to communicate candidate pipelines and recruiting status as appropriate
  • Manage recruiting related projects as needed employment branding, candidate experience enhancements, talent acquisition training
  • Implement innovative and proven strategies to source a highly qualified and diverse candidate pool
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned
  • Successfully manage full cycle hiring needs for various business units including exempt, non-exempt and early career
  • Proactively provide consultative recruiting services to include networking and establishing effective working relationships with internal and external customers, pursuing conscious cost-containment efforts, continually seeking new sourcing options, and developing creative approaches to delivering candidates to hiring teams
  • Continuously refining our employer brand strategy in partnership with Marketing and leadership team based on comments from candidates and employees
  • Assist in the development of HR policies and aligned to the HR and business strategy
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

  • No direct supervision

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as recruiter for companies with good reputation for their hiring practices
  • Able to analyze and resolve both routine and non-routine Human Resources and business issues of low to moderate scope using independent judgment
  • A passion for creating an award-winning candidate experience, from initial resume submission to onboarding
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels in the organization
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • The ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and easily to changing situations and priorities
  • Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and discretion with regard to employee information
  • Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods and procedures required by the position

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or other related experience
  • Prior experience recruiting for Engineering positions
  • SHRM designations
  • Experience in ADP

Work Authorization/Security Clearance/Other Requirements:

  • Must have authorization to work in the United States

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones photocopiers, filing cabinets.
