We are looking for an experienced sales rep with serious hunter skills to cover our

Mid-Atlantic territory. You must live in the covered Mid-Atlantic Region as defined by SeaDream.  States covered are District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. The Sales Representative located in any other state is not an option.

What You Will Do:

  • Primary objective to work with the travel partner community to sell full-yacht charters, groups and FIT business; conduct face-to-face meetings with travel partners in the luxury space.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention, foster relationships with Travel Partners
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our Retail Sales base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, by providing Sales and Promotional Marketing support to Travel Partners.
  • Provide product training and consultative selling support to Travel Partners.

Sales Planning and Execution:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales proposals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Market and Industry Expertise:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in the luxury travel and cruise industry.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for SeaDream Yacht Club, promoting our values and mission.
  • Execute duties as needed inline with Sales and Sales Support.


What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

  • 10+ years in the luxury travel industry is vital. Specific, relevant experience in yachting or luxury cruise sales via direct and travel partners is highly desired.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas. Please be prepared to provide results and proof.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong hunter mentality with excellent lead generation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong belief in the product being sold, which translates into enthusiastic and convincing sales pitches.
  • Strong ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Capability to address and resolve customer concerns and issues promptly.
  • Effective management of time to balance client meetings, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to bounce back from rejections and continue striving towards sales goals.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, share insights, and support team objectives.
  • Commitment to ethical sales practices and transparency in all dealings.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time within your multi*state territory. Expect to spend 3*4 nights per week in a hotel.
  • Must legally be able to work in the US and live in the covered Mid*Atlantic Region (District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey).
  • Must speak, read, and write English at a conversational level.
  • A referenceable work history with the ability to provide references from previous clients and supervisors.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms for lead generation.
  • MS Office Products
