Position Requirements

  • Perform administrative duties and assisting contracting officers and contract specialists with general day-to-day contract administration duties
  • Support contract administration activities including coordinating Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting (CPAR) evaluations and assisting with contract/procurement process documentation
  • Support writing, developing, issuing, updating and revising policy, desk guides, and procedures
  • Support purchase card program manager with reconciliations, tracking, monitoring, presentation and training activities
  • Support the process of contract modifications for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task orders on directed work scope or reliability projects
  • Support the review and process Requests for Services (RFS) submittals submitted by other DOE contractors
  • Assist with drafting contract documents, new awards, modifications, and closeouts utilizing procurement system (STRIPES)
  • Assist with developing, preparing, scheduling, and presenting instructional and training resources
  • Assist with the preparation of cost/price analysis and estimates
  • Assist with the preparation of various reports
  • Review and process assistance of contractor invoices in a timely fashion
  • Assist with tracking various actions including updating workload tracking tools
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements


Required Education and Experience

Entry Level

  • Associates degree or three (3) years of experience in an office setting may be substituted for education
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Strong clerical, administrative, and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills

Junior Level

  • Bachelor's degree in a business field of study (Accounting, Economics, Management, Marketing, etc.); or an associate's degree plus three (3) years of experience in a business field may be substituted for bachelor's degree; or six (6) years of experience in a business field may be substituted for Bachelors' degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or contract administration
  • Experience in policy preparation and policy management, evaluations, and assessments of contract documents, and quality assurance of contract administration preferred
  • Exposure in all areas of Government contract formation, administration, and contract negotiations, either federal or commercial preferred
  • Experience with other procurement activities such as processing requisitions, purchase orders, and reconciling government or corporate purchase card or credit card statements
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Strong clerical, administrative, and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills
