Notes:

  • Hybrid role.
  • Standard workday consists of 4 x 10 hours of work between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM, with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch. No work occurs on the non-working Fridays.

Description:

  • Periodically support interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to represent corrective action plans, event response and investigation, issue and trend analysis, performance indicators, and other facets of the program.
  • Develop iCAS Reporting and Data Analysis in support of tracking and trending projects and enterprise issues.
  • Coordinate with project owners to develop, change, maintain, and publish key performance indicators and department level indicators.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to project and program staff on criteria for effective performance indicators.
  • Compile material for routine meetings.
  • Perform issue screening, leading the screening team including program and project representatives to identify issue codes, as well as supporting evaluation reporting under the guidance of the Program Manager.
  • Participate in the development of the company assessment schedule, including identification of potential focus area and risks.
  • Develop and maintain the assessment schedule and monitor completion against plan objectives.
  • Perform or support performance of assessments as requested by project management.
  • Lead event investigations, including conducting personnel interviews, critiques, and producing event reports.
  • Lead and perform Root Cause, Apparent Cause, and Common Cause analyses as required.
  • Support projects in the development of corrective actions and corrective action plans as required and provide in-depth guidance to projects on the establishment of commitments responsive to higher significance issues.
  • Monitor the progress and completion of corrective action and corrective action plans and assist in the validation of appropriate action closure.
  • Perform interim and final effectiveness reviews following completion of corrective actions and corrective action plans, as required.
  • Maintain project performance dashboards as required and directed by projects.
  • Perform routine evaluation of the compliance and effectiveness of the program, as well as the quality of products, including but not limited to reports, causal analyses, and assessments.
  • Administer regulatory reporting, HPI, Lessons Learned, and Performance Assurance program activities.
  • Support the Technical Authorities / Functional Managers in administration of associated project procedures and policies.
  • In coordination with program leadership, develop and issue lessons learned and other material.
  • Provide coordination, communication, and interface between the resources supporting this scope and the Program Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience (for Program Manager role), minimum 10 years of experience (for Senior Level Support), minimum 8 years of experience (for Mid-Level Support) and minimum 5 years of experience (for Junior Level Support) with similar programs in a highly regulated work environment such as commercial nuclear, DOE, or DOD.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience leading contractor assurance or related functions for the department including management of critical operational issues, event investigation, development and monitoring of corrective action plans, and interfacing with a diverse range of customers and regulatory agencies.
