Industrial Crane Sales Representative

Position Summary:

Due to tremendous growth, Morgan Engineering is seeking an Industrial Crane Sales Representative to join our team in the Brownstown, MI area.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth in respective geographic areas to meet your assigned financial objectives for Standard Cranes.
  • Gather and submit detailed business information to provide sales, technical, product, and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory
  • Ensure pricing is within industry levels and are competitive
  • Perform joint or independent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. Including field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
  • Follow up on potential quotes, and projects and maintain all data in the CRM.
  • Attend weekly sales/update meetings to review active projects
  • Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, and quotas.
  • Participate in the development of sales and marketing strategies and long-range planning
  • Continually appraise company products, policies, and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.
  • Recommend changes in pricing and product strategy as required
  • Appraise promptness in order processing, deliveries, technical services, parts, warranty, and other customer services.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Four (4) year degree preferred
  • Background in sales, 3 years or more preferred.
  • Prior experience with industrial equipment-related sales is preferred
  • Familiarity with the overhead crane industry a plus
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles • Good verbal, written, and computer skills are required • Willing and able to work off the ground.
  • Must be willing to travel
