Long Home Products is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist with experience in Home Improvement to join our team in our Corporate location

Pay starting at $23.00 / hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy when reviewing, ordering, and receiving products. Respond to all customer product questions in a professional and timely manner.

Manage purchasing workflows

Create and approve product quotes/orders with manufacturers

Complete calls to customers to confirm Agreement specs.

Generate Material and Labor PO's/PC's.

Monitor and audit delivery of products ordered. Issue products to Subcontractors and collect paperwork.

Work with customer to schedule installation

Consult with sales, service, and marketing departments for product descriptions or details.

Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Purchasing experience - home improvement products a plus

Excellent communication skills

Ability to handle upset customers and show empathy to their situations

Strong organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Education/Experience:

High school diploma

4 years of customer service experience preferred

Home improvement purchasing experience preferred
