Our client is looking for an experienced Human Resources Professional with 5+ years of experience to support a staff of 100 employees in the manufacturing industry.

Under the direct supervision of the CFO, the Human Resource Manager will be in charge of managing the recruiting process, including all employee onboarding and offboarding, as well as assisting staff in enrolling and understanding the client's benefits. The duties of this post include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare 401(k) Census annually, manage all employee's correspondence, changes of withholding or beneficiary forms.
  • Administrator of the recruiting process, which includes delivering needed paperwork to candidates, submitting background checks, and creating a drug screening package. Once hired, create an onboarding packet and enter personnel into the payroll software. Keep all personnel files digitally organized with HR software.
  • Offboarding includes UE slips, COBRA notifications, and benefit revocation.
  • Manage the Cost Accounting software by adding jobs, job codes, and employees.
  • 401(k) Enrollment: manage enrollment and interact with John Hancock.
  • Prepare the annual 401(k) Census, manage all employee communications, and update withholding or beneficiary papers.
  • Prepare a 401(k) audit. Work with auditors on any necessary documentation and queries.
  • Respond to any HR and management requests for personnel information. Communicate with management and give timely feedback to staff.
  • Participate in the health insurance enrollment process, plan meetings with employees, and enroll new members.
  • Every month, review your health, dental, STD, and life insurance invoices. Process all dismissed workers.
  • Review and react to every unemployment communications.
  • File/manage all Workers' Compensation claims. job with management on job statuses, communicate with travelers, and keep management informed.
  • Manage employee mobile phone upgrades, activations, and replacements.
  • Support the publication of monthly newsletter and plan and manage employee events.

Prerequisites:

  • Can operate in a fast-paced atmosphere and multitask.
  • Experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong computer abilities; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe/Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Possess and apply a comprehensive understanding of ideas, techniques, and processes to the execution of complex tasks.
