As a Computer Support Administrator (CSA) at Cadence Coalition, you will play a crucial role in overseeing network (NIPRNET) operations and providing exceptional customer support. Your responsibilities will include efficiently processing technical support requests and forwarding trouble tickets from the installation Communications Squadron/Network Control Center (NCC). This dynamic role will require you to leverage your problem-solving skills and customer-centric approach to ensure seamless IT operations for our clients. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Function as the assessor for the program area in the Management Internal Control Toolkit (MICT) per AFI 90-302, The Inspection System of the Department of the Air Force.
  • Monitor voice over internet protocol (VOIP) phones connected through user computers.
  • Submit, monitor and remedy trouble tickets. Initial contact on tickets shall be made within 48 hours with follow up and reporting until closed.
  • Coordinate with Base-level Communication Squadron (CS) personnel to address interoperability and connectivity issues for the enterprise network, which may include recommendations to meet operational requirements.
  • Organize and track job requests to ensure that all customer requests are handled expeditiously while keeping the Government apprised of significant changes in workload status.
  • Provide support services to maintain file/application backup capability, security, imaging/optical character recognition (OCR), operational data storage and retrieval application resident on diverse computer platforms such as networks and client-server environments.
  • Analyze new applications, perform software maintenance, and make appropriate enhancements to existing systems as well as assisting customer personnel in identifying their requirements and/or problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Additional IAT Level II certification from the list below:
    • CCNA-Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • CND
    • SSCP
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or related field to establish proficiency
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Enterprise) and Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, integrating, and installing systems, especially Local Area Networks (LAN) and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phones
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing the life cycle of computer systems and software and providing timely and efficient support services
  • Strong communication skills are vital for explaining system capabilities to users, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring the seamless operation of network systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associates degree of Computer Science is preferred
  • Knowledge of United States Air Force (USAF) computer programs and policies is highly desired
