DAY TO DAY AS A SYSTEM ANALYST - SITE LEAD

As a System Analyst - Site Lead at Cadence Coalition, you will spearhead system analysis, integration of cutting-edge technologies, program assessment, and meticulous documentation within the MICT framework. Your role will involve the critical evaluation of new and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, determining their suitability for personal computers, LANs, telecommunications, and networks. Your expertise will be vital in the seamless installation and troubleshooting of software across various IT assets, ranging from servers to desktops and laptops, encompassing both COTS and government-developed applications and systems. Thrive in a dynamic environment where your problem-solving skills will be put to the test, making a tangible impact on our high-performance team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain COTS software license inventory within IAW AFMAN 17-1203 and store evidence of all licenses in a secure location.
  • Inspect all COTS software on servers and desktop computers annually to ensure there are no illegal or unauthorized copies installed.
  • Prepare and submit an annual inventory report of software to the COR within 30 business days prior to the end of year and thereafter. The annual report shall be documented in Excel or Word.
  • Provide resources to support any or all phases and stages of software life cycle management, including planning, analysis, troubleshooting, integration, acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, training, documentation, and administration.
  • Develop the objectives and general definition of the requirements for a proposed system (project initiation phase). The system(s) could be in-house development, reengineering an existing system(s), installing, and implementing GOTS and COTS software.

Required Qualifications:

  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Additional IAT Level II certification from the list below:
    • CCNA-Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • CND
    • SSCP
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or related field to establish proficiency
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Enterprise) and Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Strong communication skills are vital for explaining system capabilities to users, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring the seamless operation of network systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associates degree of Computer Science is preferred
  • Knowledge of United States Air Force (USAF) computer programs and policies is highly desired
