Job Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within the home care and assisted living industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, referral sources, and community partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the home care and assisted living sectors.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote the company's services to target audiences.
- Arrange and conduct meetings, presentations, and tours for prospective clients and their families.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings to increase brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients into the service.
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions, manage leads, and report on sales activities and results.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Provide feedback from the market to the management and product development teams to help tailor services to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry standards in the home care and assisted living field.
- Conduct follow-up activities post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services or referrals.
Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the healthcare, home care, or assisted living industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the home care and assisted living market, including regulatory environment and key competitors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and referral sources.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Ability to conduct presentations and facilitate group discussions with clients and professionals in the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn and understand the specific needs and concerns of elderly clients and their families.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed to attend networking events, conferences, and other business development opportunities.
- Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
