PPS is seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Warehouse Manager at our fastener distribution facility in Louisville. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and delegate all daily warehouse and delivery tasks
  • Coach, train, and cross-train warehouse team members
  • Organize daily staffing and PTO schedule
  • Hold daily meetings with team members to review tasks and processes
  • Interview, onboard, supervise, reward, discipline, and motivate staff
  • Conduct employee reviews and coaching sessions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date department and employee records
  • Working with Operations and Sales Managers to ensure efficiency and maximize production
  • Creating conductivity between departments and branches as main POC of facility
  • Ensure safety of staff and SOPs by maintaining workplace standards
  • Order warehouse supplies as needed
  • Maintain vehicle and lift truck maintenance schedules
  • Other warehouse work as needed

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • A proven track record of employee development
  • Ability to resolve employee concerns
  • Focus on safety, team motivation, and customer service
  • Scheduling and planning- experience in working with Windows based programs
  • The desire to fulfill multiple roles, including team management, customer service, training, and operations
  • Warehouse experience, including forklift operation, preferred
  • Accountability Attendance and punctuality is part of the job requirement
  • A strong desire for longevity and growth within our company
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean/clear drug screen, background, and driving record
  • Ability to lift 45-50 lbs
  • Ability to be on your feet 50-75% of the day
