Key Responsibilities

  • Lead actions to demilitarize, remove, transport, and arrange for disposal instructions for TADSS, GFP, and unaccounted property through PIEE or as directed.
  • Create documentation for shipping/disposal to facilitate adjustments in accountability.
  • Update and maintain disposal and inventory records in InSITE.
  • Support the FOCUS center and/or site staff in Task 2 where devices are located.
  • Oversee daily transportation and shipping operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and customer services related to transportation and shipping.
  • Lead, optimize, and coordinate the full order lifecycle.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
  • Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
  • Plan routes, process shipments, and dispose of material properly following CPF 12.
  • Resolve problems or issues.
  • Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements.
  • Implement health and safety procedures in coordination with HR and Safety departments.
  • Stay current with advances in logistics technology and apply new ways to streamline operations.
  • Conduct training sessions on the proper installation and removal of TADSS to minimize damage and ensure proper handling.
  • Oversee international shipping coordinator reports.
  • Oversee truck drivers.
  • Collaborate with Task 2 staff as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, or 5+ years with a Master's degree.
