POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an advanced professional position responsible for the management and oversight of the administration of clinical staff. This may include but is not limited to, interviewing, relationships with local colleges, and may provide training of BHT and Case Management staff. The Clinical Coordinator will provide administrative support for program administrators and report to and function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Program Director of the Adult Emergency Services Inpatient Program.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of support services/business administration experience is preferred.
  • Experience as a BHT and or Care Manager at Gracepoint is preferred.
  • Respond to questions from managers, patients, service providers, managed care entities, family members, and other stakeholders.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completing Phone Screenings and participating in interviews with candidates for hire.
  • Coordinate the process from hire to starting on the unit between new hire, HR, and unit.
  • Manages USF Residents and Nursing Schools for Clinical Rotations as the organization's main point of contact
  • Facilitate the Training of newly hired Behavioral Health Technicians
  • Coordinating and Attending Career Fairs with HR Department for recruitment of new staff
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to learn and use other computer software.
  • Provides exceptional customer service in all communications and interactions with staff and the general public.
  • Assists in coordinating and scheduling staff training and integrating it into the program; attends pertinent staff meetings.
  • Manage the talent pool by monitoring and reviewing applicants for program vacancies, coordinating and/or facilitating interviews and site tours.
  • Maintains and exhibits servant leadership qualities by assisting staff in all areas of functional responsibility in a courteous, supportive manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to, and respond to questions from managers, clients, service providers, family members, and the public.
  • Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships required for proper functioning. Demonstrates skills to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate tasks and work assignments.
