RESPONSIBILITES: 

  • Establishes professional customer network relationships with appropriate customer personnel to elicit customer loyalty; which will in turn generate repeat business. Make recommendations on strategies for completing the sale. 
  • Receives and responds to calls and emails from current and prospective customers, explaining type of product and/or service offered. Works with the customer to assess and understand their applications, equipment and/or service needs. 
  • Source products and develop quotes based on customer requests. 
  • Research and price new products, negotiate on pricing and deliver and identify new vendors as needed. 
  • Establishes professional relationships with appropriate vendor personnel to garner most favored vendor pricing. Secures opportunities to quote and promote EST products and/or services. 
  • Utilizes Customer Relation Management (CRM) system for new customer setup, tracking all activities including, new leads/opportunities, scheduling follow up calls and accurate maintenance.  
  • Provide support of Outside EST Sales Representatives and needed support in all phases of sales cycle. 
  • Attend trade shows or other sales and networking events both in person and virtually.  
  • Occasional travel and extended hours 3 to 4 times per year may be required.  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong customer service and team orientation. 
  • Understanding of the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals. 
  • Fluent in English, excellent communication, listening skills, self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, well organized and dependable. 
  • 2-4 years successful sales and customer support experience preferred. 
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Prior experience with industrial or government contracts strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment and electronic systems a plus. 
  • Strong computer skills including 3 years' experience with MS Office in a work environment (Excel & Outlook). CRM experience highly preferred. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport, Military base passes, Driver’s license and other access credentials. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • May involves prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk doing computer work  
  • Traveling in a vehicle or on an airplane – 10% 
  • Ability to routinely lift 30 pounds 
  • Ability to utilize a ladder with 300 pounds weight limit
