TEEMA Solutions is actively seeking a qualified mental Health Professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist) to join our team for an exciting opportunity at a corrections facility in San Quentin, California. No prior corrections experience is necessary – we welcome candidates with a passion for serving the underserved community.

We offer a competitive pay rates which vary depending on license type (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Psychologist) and contract type (W2 or Incorporate/LLC). Travel packages are also available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with supervisors and treatment team members on complex cases

  • Thoroughly document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and interdisciplinary meetings

  • Monitor inmate progress using approved documentation formats

  • Conduct mental status exams and utilize community standards and ethical practices in treatment modalities

  • Assist inmates in accessing entitlement benefits, community programs, and services

  • Provide written reports and consult with the Board of Prison Hearings

  • Communicate with relatives/caregivers as approved by supervisors and with patient consent

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of appropriate experience

  • Profesisonal License in CA (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Psychologist)

  • BLS certification (Must obtain as soon as possible upon offer)
