Associates will benefit from training opportunities, standards of care, and 1:1 meetings with a supervisor for performance check-ins, individualized case consultation, and professional development, including:

  • A robust FREE in-house Continuing Education program taught by Foresighters for Foresighters to meet annual licensure requirements. We allow and encourage Foresighters to consider developing and delivering training on topics they are passionate about
  • Clinical Supervision: Provided by one of our own Clinical Supervisors, we offer paid individual, triadic, and/or group supervision

Under supervision of an independently licensed therapist, Foresight Associate-level therapists:

  • Will provide attuned psychotherapy: All Associates, regardless of the status of their supervised experience, are required to work with clients who are children, adolescents, couples, and families
  • Work full-time (36 hours/week: 26 hours of therapy sessions, 2 hours for individual, triadic, and/or group supervision and 8 hours for admin time)
    • Including a schedule availability to see clients 2 weekdays/week between 4 PM - 7 PM (Pacific time) or one weekday/week 4 PM - 7 PM (Pacific time) and Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM (Pacific time)
  • Develop assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and professionals in an interdisciplinary approach to provide holistic care

What Foresight Offers:

  • Competitive Compensation Package: Full-time Associates receive an hourly rate of $30/hour.
    • Please note that caseload ramp up to fill schedules may take 4-6 weeks.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking associate therapists who are truly passionate about delivering individual, family and couples psychotherapy, with a commitment to client-centered care and a deep understanding of trauma-informed approaches and evidence-based practices. We value forward-thinking professionals who are eager to push boundaries and stay at the forefront of the mental health field.

  • California residents who hold an active Associate California Clinical Social Workers (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCC) license.
    • No subsequent registration due to our work setting
  • At least 6 months of experience as an Associate
  • Ability to provide bilingual services is a plus Foresight's community of clientele represent the diverse communities of California. We are eager to welcome more therapists who are able to conduct therapy in the threshold languages: Arabic, Armenian, Cambodian, Chinese, English, Hindi, Farsi, Hmong, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese
  • Providers who have not have opted out from Medicare. We do not require that you see Medicare patients, you just can have opted out.
  • Tech-savvy providers with necessary access to reliable and stable Internet, which is essential to deliver telehealth remotely.
  • Providers with experience with Google Suite and Advanced MD, although this is not required.
