About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team as a Mental Health Therapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for adult and child patients.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment programs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment programs for patients with acute or chronic mental illness.
  • Participate in staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs.
  • Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries, and maintain confidential records.
  • Chart patient treatment and progress in accordance with state and NCQA regulations.
  • May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation.
  • Utilize resources of public and private agencies and community organizations to meet patient needs.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • License, Certification, Registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
  • Commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
