Job Description

The Field Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that retail stores are visually appealing, align with brand standards, and effectively showcase products to maximize sales. This role involves visiting various store locations to implement visual merchandising strategies, create engaging displays, and ensure consistency across all stores within a designated region. Key responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to train them on visual merchandising techniques, conducting regular store audits to assess compliance with visual standards, and providing feedback to improve store layouts. Additionally, the role requires staying updated on current merchandising trends, analyzing store performance, and adapting visual strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales. The Field Visual Merchandiser must possess a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple locations.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:

  • The Field Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for implementing and conceptualizing store visual directives and displays.
  • The Field Merchant will be primarily focused on our existing retail stores while providing immediate visual support and training. Travel to existing stores throughout the week is required to ensure all merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Travel to new store openings is occasionally required to assist in the visual set up and the store’s grand opening.
  • Provide weekly store reports on product sell-through and display opportunities within each store.
  • Coordinate and execute merchandising plans to map-out product wall displays and tables with the VM manager.
  • Maintain and track seasonal signage and collateral for in store and window displays.
  • Assist marketing team with the upkeep and update of larger brand imagery within all stores.
  • Keeping a clear line of communication with District Managers and Store Managers on any orders, flip executions and visual display-arrivals.
  • Upkeep existing plant orders and replacements for props, mannequins, lighting, sign holders, etc.
  • Manage weekly photo uploads on the shared drive for all seasonal flips including store maintenance imagery throughout the field.
  • Assist in the coordination of visual-project scheduling within stores including take-away or prop movement in & out stores.
  • Attend visual merchandising meetings and training sessions, to upkeep an up-to date knowledge of best trends and practices for visual merchandising.
  • Assist in-store planning and product mapping for stores.
  • Manage ongoing primary and secondary fixture maintenance within stores.

  • Experience working independently and with a team while handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in Apple products and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the use of digital cameras/phones.
  • Excellent grammar, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, prioritization, organization and time-management skills.
  • Experience working within a corporate environment.
  • Hands on knowledge of store window execution and vinyl install.
  • Experience using basic hardware and tools for visual maintenance as needed.

  • Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must have the ability for repetitive physically body movements. I.e., bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
  • Must have the ability to climbing ladders to execute duties.
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time within each day.
  • Must have valid driver's license for transportation needs.

The salary range for this role is $67,000 per year - $75,000 per year.
