Key Responsibilities- Utilize digital camera and editing equipment to create captivating visual stories.
- Develop and implement creative approaches to storytelling, incorporating different camera and media formats as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, including Edius editing, After Effects, Bitcentral, Panasonic, Sony cameras, and iNews.
- Collaborate with reporters, editors, and other staff members to ensure seamless execution of assignments.
- Participate in editorial, department, and station meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Think critically and work professionally under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a news photojournalist, preferably in a mid to major market.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Live ENG remote skillset and experience with ENG truck operation, field editing, and satellite trucks.
- Excellent photography, lighting, audio, non-linear editing, and computer skills.
- Superior news judgment and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
