The Role: Program Manager, Charlottesville, VA

What You'll Do: Reporting directly to the Associate Director, you'll oversee all supportive services, programs and teams to ensure successful design and implementation of program policies/procedures and regulatory guidelines.

  • Manage program expansions, launch/development of new programs, establish processes, workflows, goals & benchmarks, reviewing/monitoring program effectiveness, goals, objectives and contractual outcomes to improve program performance
  • Conduct/document quarterly program audits, in-person housing quality inspections and participant satisfaction surveys
  • Lead, mentor & supervise staff, volunteers and interns, conducting supervision and one-on-one sessions, performance planning and training programs
  • Conduct and oversee hiring and onboarding of new hires following program and agency policies/procedures
  • Identify, build and maintain community relationships with landlords and service organizations related to the target population

What You'll Bring to VSH:

  • A Bachelor's degree in human services, business or related field with 3+ years experience supervisory or project management experience
  • Knowledge of homeless population and appropriate community resources, especially entitlement and housing resources
  • Two years experience working with grants and/or regulatory standards required
  • One year of quality assurance experience preferred
  • Frequent travel locally/regionally, must have access to a personal vehicle and valid VA driver license
