Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth in our repair and reconditioning services across dealer networks, fleet operators, auction platforms, and OEM opportunities. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with key stakeholders in these sectors, promoting our services, and ultimately expanding our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients within the dealer, fleet, auction and OEM sectors.
- Develop a targeted strategy to penetrate these markets and increase our market share.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
Business Development:
- Proactively reach out to potential clients (dealerships, fleet managers, OEM’s auction houses) to introduce our repair and reconditioning services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Present our service offerings effectively, addressing client needs and positioning our solutions as the preferred choice.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
- Nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively converting leads into clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
Reporting and Performance Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis for management review.
- Utilize data insights to refine sales strategies and improve overall performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role, preferably in the automotive or service industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of business development experience.
- Strong understanding of dealer networks, fleet management, and auto auction & OEM processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).
- Ability to work a hybrid work schedule which will require some in office time in our DFW Headquarters.
