JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition is a pivotal leadership role within our Human Resources team, responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle and ensuring the effective and strategic acquisition of top talent. This position entails developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, leading a high-performing recruitment team, and fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The leader will possess extensive experience in talent acquisition, a deep understanding of recruitment metrics and best practices, and a commitment to enhancing the candidate experience while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the hiring process.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for a diverse range of positions.
  • Utilize data and analytics to assess recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve recruitment processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, universities, and professional organizations.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition.
  • Manage the recruitment budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the recruitment process.
  • Functions collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client-oriented team and is an active participant in developing team goal, objectives, and systems.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Complies with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Engineering and Manufacturing organizations required.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
  • Customer-focused attitude; high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to professionally perform at a high-level using discretion and effective communication skills as it pertains to employee and manager situations
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Experience with HRIS systems implementation, administration, and training a plus.
