OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW 

ZeroFox seeks a Strategic Account Manager for Federal Law Enforcement to create long-term, trusting relationships with our public sector customers. The Strategic Account Manager is a dual role consisting of overseeing  existing ZeroFox customers and developing new business within DHS, DOJ, U.S. Courts, and state Fusion Centers. The Strategic Account Manager will work collaboratively with the broader Public Sector team to meet revenue goals and will report directly to the Vice President, Public Sector. Qualified candidates must be customer-focused, be able to travel throughout their assigned region, and demonstrate a successful track record working within Federal Law Enforcement organizations.


Role and responsibilities 

  • Sell industry-leading enterprise software and renew/grow existing  ZeroFox solutions to achieve target revenue
  • Embody “sales discipline” and develop well-thought-out plans to rapidly develop territory and key accounts
  • Forecast, achieve, and maintain sales appointment levels, product and service sales volumes, and target margins as outlined on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Lead and facilitate sales initiatives
  • Report on sales strategies and pipeline regularly
  • Provide input for sales and marketing materials
  • Establish, develop, and maintain successful relationships with partner territory sales and account management teams
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for ZeroFox customers, internal teams, and partners
  • Work in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment
  • Prospect for new business 
  • Attend industry and relevant technology events
  • Participate in industry conferences and actively support ZeroFox’s marketing and awareness efforts
  • Develop solid and trusting relationships between customers and ZeroFox
  • Coordinate and resolve key customer issues by leveraging the correct internal resources
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of current and future account needs
  • Anticipate account changes and improvements. Bring proposed changes to ZeroFox product management and engineering teams
  • Manage communications between customers and internal teams
  • Be accountable for helping customers achieve their goals with the ZeroFox platform
  • Meet all customer needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Act as a liaison between customer and internal business units to manage customer needs 


Required qualifications and skills 

  • Software sales / account management experience selling to US Federal Government customers (cyber security preferred), typically obtained in 5+ years 
  • History of exceeding quota
  • Knowledge of Federal Civilian  organizations and key executive leaders
  • Ability to operate independently as a sales rep and in conjunction with a remote sales engineer
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover, qualify, develop, and close new accounts
  • Established network in the Federal Law Enforcement ecosystem
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Persuasion and excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Effective communication with both technology-oriented and senior business executives at the C-level
  • Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-motivation
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
  • Salesforce and Google Suite skills 
  • Experience using Revenue Operations technology
  • Ability to travel as needed; willingness to regularly travel across the East or West United States to meet customers and partners in various states / territories


Desired qualifications and skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging cyber challenges on a global scale across multiple industries
  • Understanding of Federal Civilian strategic cyber priorities and plans
  • Sandler selling certification a plus
