Dynamis is seeking a Law Enforcement Information Management System Analyst (LEIMS) to support the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service (FPS) in Washington, DC. This position is a hybrid work model supporting on-site at the FPS office and telework.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain procedures supporting the documentation of law enforcement and protective security responses to events at federal facilities
  • Capture, validate, and formulate data-based reports utilizing the FPS Law Enforcement Information Management System (LEIMS) and associated information
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of all regionally approved reports and provide written documentation on deficiencies in policy, content, and quality of the reporting
  • Develop a national trends and analyses report on a quarterly basis which is supported by week-to-week reviews of FPS law enforcement and protective security reporting
  • Coordinate date integrity and status reporting presentations to ensure the highest levels of quality and compliance with applicable policies and standards
  • Provide FPS law enforcement and protective security information briefings to partners and stakeholders
  • Coordinate HQ requests as well as point of contact for external agencies relating to law enforcement and protective security reporting issues
  • Provide LEIMS SME Helpdesk support for FPS field personnel (account management, issue triage, service level increases, etc.)
  • Conduct statistical reporting with respect to all levels of data from LEIMS
  • Develop responses to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), DHS, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Congressional inquiries regarding the program, receive approval, and coordinate cross divisional equities and information
  • Validate information contained in LEIMS correct incongruent information with internal and external sources and partners
  • Gather, compile, and document requirements for law enforcement and protective security reporting in LEIMS
  • Coordinate Operation and Maintenance (O&M) efforts with the Information Technology Dashboard (ITD) and contractor
  • Assist in development of future requirements and necessary resources for enhancements to the LEIMS Program
Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in project or program management, or related work with a minimum of five of the eight years in conducting analytical and support activities related to task area.
  • A minimum education requirement of a bachelor's degree
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data
  • Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher to include Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently
  • Ability to effectively manage several tasks simultaneously
