Your Role: Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at FSA, you will play a vital role in supporting the mission of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and organizing information from diverse sources to contribute to our critical efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather data from multiple sources, ensuring its completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconcile inconsistencies in received information and maintain meticulous records.
  • Input data into databases, documents, or spreadsheets with precision.
  • Establish and manage physical files, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Track case file status to guarantee compliance with established deadlines.
  • Coordinate requests for additional information as needed.
  • Extract relevant information from various sources to prepare comprehensive reports, summaries, and responses to inquiries.
  • Perform word processing tasks related to case documentation.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates on case progress.
  • Contribute to other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend the structure and functions of our organization.
  • Exceptional data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in reviewing, interpreting, and evaluating complex legal and non-legal documents.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, including databases.
  • Proven commitment to providing outstanding customer service with a positive and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Banking experience and familiarity with programs such as Omnipage, Bankscan, or Scanwriter are advantageous.

Security Requirements:

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
