We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as a Resource Room Services professional. In this role, you will provide support services to students and staff with diverse needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all. You will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized learning plans and ensure access to accommodations and specialized services.

As the Resource Room Services professional, you will also play a critical role in maintaining accurate records and communicating with families and outside service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion will be essential in fostering positive relationships and promoting student success.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support services to students with diverse needs, including academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and physical disabilities.
  • Collaborate with educators and administrators to develop and implement individualized learning plans and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress, services provided, and communication with families and outside services.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of student needs and progress to ensure continuous improvement and effective service delivery.
  • Work with outside service providers and community resources to coordinate services and support.
  • Stay current with best practices and new developments in special education and related fields.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students, staff, and families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, social work, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education or related field.
  • Proficiency in working with diverse populations and providing culturally responsive services.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
