At this exciting time in our company, ABC stone has an opportunity for an experienced Sample Room Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is dependable, is customer service driven and has a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Role Description
The Sample Coordinator ensures our library of samples is fully stocked and in pristine condition. In addition, the Sample Room Coordinator is responsible to mail out Samples to clients. You will also communicate with our Sales team to best meet the needs of our clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Stone identification (Prior experience a plus)
- Data entry experience (MS Excel)
- CRM (Customer Relationship Management) (Prior experience a plus)
- Inventory Management
- Sample Inventory Management
- Fulfilling sample requests by Sales Rep & Sample Dept. Manager
- Sending out samples requested by Clients (Transmittals)
- Coordinating with Sample Department Managers
- Office work (respond to emails & phone calls)
- Assisting Sales Reps & Managers with Samples
- Assist with cutting stone for Samples
- Use Forklift as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have a great attitude
- Ability to multitask in a timely and effective manner
- Ability to be a member of a team
- Forklift Experience (a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (email & phone).
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience (a plus)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and standing.
- Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above shoulder level, fine finger dexterity
- Ability to withstand indoor and outdoor environmental conditions (extreme temperatures and related conditions)
- Ability to use ladder
- Ability to operate machinery
- Required vision abilities: peripheral, and ability to adjust focus
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles and wide range of temperatures
- At times exposed to loud noise levels
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds at times.
