Big Bear Restoration is looking for a vibrant and personable candidate interested in furthering their career in marketing business development.

The perfect person for this role is ideally comfortable meeting new people with great communication skills. This individual has a willingness to grow and takes the initiative when they can. This position is salary-based with commission and profit sharing.

Our marketing and business development department's sole purpose is to spread the message that Big Bear Restoration is a leader in our field and that we are here as a resource should anyone in and out of our network ever need our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and create professional relationships with local contacts based on marketing objectives/initiatives.
  • Develop a plan & implement additional marketing initiatives to continue building contacts.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • There is no cold calling and no door-to-door sales.
Position Requirements
  • Skills:
    • Exception listening skills and verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent and proven knowledge within restoration, construction, property management, etc.
    • Ability to pull general analytical territory reports associated with applicable reporting tools and job function
    • Ability to work cooperatively
    • Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and a positive can-do attitude
    • Willingness to Travel
    • Compelling sales personality, and a desire to develop new sales prospects and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads
    • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Some experience in business development/sales - internship experience accepted
  • Candidate who takes initiative, is self-motivated, responsive, has strong verbal & written communication, eager to learn, & high energy
  • Bachelors degree preferred but relevant experience accepted
  • Ability to successfully complete a background/ Driver license check subject to applicable law
