Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Credit Manager in overseeing the credit and collections team.
  • Review and approve credit applications and determine credit limits based on risk assessments.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable and overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to optimize cash flow and minimize risk.
  • Conduct regular credit reviews and assessments of existing customer accounts.
  • Prepare and present reports on credit and collections performance, including aging reports and delinquency analysis.
  • Resolve complex credit issues and disputes with customers, providing solutions to ensure timely payment.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to address and resolve credit-related matters.
  • Assist in training and mentoring credit staff to improve skills and performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit management or collections, with at least [Y] years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit management principles, financial analysis, and collection strategies.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving results.
