Job DescriptionJob DescriptionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Manage all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation and production, and management and training of kitchen staff
- Ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food production
- Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order
- Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
- Assume the role as Executive Chef in their absence
- Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications
- Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met

RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT
- Related duties as assigned based on extensive experience working in an entertainment venue
- Assist all other kitchen team members as needed
- Create and maintain a sense of urgency
- Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time
- Other job-related duties as assigned
- Inform management of any complaint, comments or incidents

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- High school or GED equivalent required, formal culinary training or associate degree in culinary arts preferred
- 21+ years of age required
- Minimum 2-5 years cooking experience in a fine dining environment and experience in a culinary leadership role preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United Stated
- Possession of/or ability to possess a valid Safe Food Manager Certification

WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic Restaurant operations
- Opening and closing duties
- Knowledge of food recipes
- Proper lifting techniques
- Food presentation
- High volume operations
- Sanitation and safety

- Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb, and carry as necessary
- Must be able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds and smoke, the severity of which depends upon guest volume
