The Park House Dallas is on the lookout for a dedicated Assistant Kitchen Manager to support our Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen operations and staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen operations and ensure high-quality service.
  • Assist in the creation and development of all food and beverage menus.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen personnel, manage schedules, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Procure supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Engage in food preparation while upholding quality standards.
  • Adhere to and enforce health and safety regulations.
  • Facilitate clear communication among management, kitchen, and front-of-house teams.
  • Maintain stamina for extended periods of standing.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Familiarity with industry best practices is essential. A solid understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent management skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, restaurant management systems) is preferred. A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is advantageous.
