Local Medical Facility / Ophthalmic Assistant (Certified & Non-Certified Considered)Pay: $13 - $16+ DOEHours: Monday - Friday 8-5

Job Duties:

  • Ophthalmic Assistant experience preferred but will train someone with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive environment with patients and co-workers.
  • Work in a flexible office and be able to handle assignments in an organized manner
  • Ability to work in a very busy practice and learn skills necessary with the possibility to earn certification.
  • Be able to register & schedule patients.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and be a self-starter.
  • Previous medical office experience in a health care setting is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, experience with electronic systems desirable or ability to learn.
