ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB                                                    

Accounts Payable

  • Managing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
  • Participate in preparation for the annual audit
  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes including sales tax
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Payroll Administrator

  • Assist in processing weekly payroll, from reviewing time entry to sending to the bank
  • Assist in processing taxes, garnishments, and other deducts
  • Assist in process employee benefit deductions and fringes
  • Answer employee questions on payroll, leaves or compensation issues
  • Setup Payroll with updated taxes, Certified Classes, and software updates as needed
  • Assist with Benefit Open Enrollment, and other HR tasks as needed
  • Ensure all federal, state and local payroll laws are followed
  • Stay up to date on Payroll Compliance, laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred

 

SYSTEM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sage preferred, not required
  • UKG Ready preferred, not required
