The Human Resource Generalist will provide support to the HR Manager. Responsibilities include assistance with some or all Human Resources functions such as payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, HRIS, reporting, and recruiting.

Human Resources Generalist Accountabilities:
  • Assist with maintaining the human resources information system (UKG) to include entering new employees, managing all employee changes, payroll, and benefits information.
  • Assist new hires with onboarding.
  • Benefits administration to include employee inquiries, benefits enrollments, changes, and open enrollment.
  • Process and audit payroll after each pay period.
  • Assist with leave questions such as FMLA and other leaves of absences.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze reports.
  • Quarterly and annual tax deadlines and procedures.
  • Maintain personnel files.
  • I'9 documentation and compliance.
  • Administer Border Points and Wellness Incentive.
  • Projects and/or tasks assigned by the HR Manager.
  • Serve as a staff resource for general HR questions.
Human Resources Generalist Education and Experience:
  • Prefer 3 - 5 years of experience in human resources.
  • Prefer human resources information system (HRIS) experience.
  • Prefer payroll certification or training.
  • Associate degree in related field or significant related experience.
