Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy Development:

· Provide strategic leadership and direction for the SBA lending division, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.

· Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence, increase loan origination volume, and maximize profitability.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Operational Management:

· Oversee all aspects of SBA lending operations, including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and portfolio management.

· Ensure compliance with SBA regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.

· Implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Team Development:

· Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of SBA lending professionals.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

· Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their professional development goals.

Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, referral sources, regulators, and industry partners.

· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract borrowers and drive loan origination.

Financial Performance:

· Develop and monitor financial performance metrics to track the division's performance against targets and objectives.

· Identify opportunities to optimize revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall financial results.

· Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and board of directors on the division's financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, JD) preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in SBA lending, with a strong understanding of SBA regulations, policies, and procedures.

· Proven track record of success in managing SBA lending operations, driving growth, and achieving financial targets.

· Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence.

· Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
