Position Summary: The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Profit and Loss (P&L) aspects of the organization, which includes conducting profitability analyses, generating reports, and developing forecasts and annual budgets. This role also encompasses balance sheet management and identifying cash flow opportunities and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage P&L responsibilities effectively.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of financial results with site leadership to address and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end close deliverables and prepare a comprehensive month-end results package to present variance analytics against budget and forecasts.
  • Review account reconciliations and develop necessary actions for resolution.
  • Analyze supply chain data to ensure material savings are reflected in the P&L.
  • Monitor initiatives and labor efficiency metrics.
  • Provide project reporting and analytics.
  • Conduct annual standard cost reviews and monthly absorption analyses.
  • Oversee working capital controls and cash forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and controls for capital expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • 8-12 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, ideally within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; familiarity with One Stream or Epicor is a plus.

This role is vital to the financial operations and overall success of the organization. It demands a detail-oriented and highly organized finance professional with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
